“Phantazien” explores art that is a step beyond the normal, in which what is experienced doesn’t seem real, yet is derived from what we understand as usual. In media both new and traditional, they suggest visible invisible realities and heightened sensory states.
The Gallery at the Blake Hotel presents a late summer exhibit, African Birds; a 16-piece series of richly textured and layered photographs composed of African birds, captured by PenRod studios. Hotel guests may view this multi-specied exhibit curated by KLG on the 6th floor adjacent to High George, our rooftop restaurant and bar.

The Blake Hotel recently unveiled The GALLERY, a space dedicated to celebrate local artists which was curated by the Kehler Liddell Gallery. The inaugural exhibit, “Winter Garden” which will run until April, includes over twenty locally-based artists and their work in a newly appointed space on the 6th floor of the hotel.

On Saturday, November 20th the Yale Bulldogs take on Harvard at the Yale Bowl. We look forward to welcoming Yale alumni, as well as the families and supporters of Yale football, back to New Haven.
